Victor - Oxford
BA in Biological Sciences
DPhil in Interdisciplinary Bioscience
I’m a first-year DPhil (PhD) student at Merton, studying Interdisciplinary Bioscience, with a specialism in animal behaviour and recently graduated with a First Class degree in Biological Sciences from Merton College. With tutoring experience across a number of top quality online platforms and extensive mentoring experience for admissions consultancies, I’m equipped with the knowledge and skills to help students get into top universities.
While at Merton, I have been a Student Ambassador, which involves visiting schools and delivering Oxford FAQ presentations. I was also selected to give a talk at Inscite: the annual Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Science Conference. This developed after I taught classes of school students at SPLASH: a day-long programme that invites secondary school students to the University to take courses taught by undergraduates on a wide variety of topics.
I have always learnt best when a teacher is receptive, patient and understanding. I hope students will find my mentoring sessions friendly and enjoyable, but also challenging.
