BA - LAND ECONOMY
Hey! My name is Ronan and I'm a graduate from the University of Cambridge, achieving a 1st in a Land Economy in June 2023. Land Economy has trained me in a wide range of academic fields, including law, economics, environmental studies, and urban planning. I specialised particularly in urban studies, achieving high grades in papers such as the built environment, urban economics, and UK planning policy. I have mentored students for applications to Land Economy and related university applications for Cambridge, as well as applications for other top universities like Oxford and Warwick too. My experience has ranged from helping them with their personal statement at the beginning to final interview preparation. I hope for Land Economy to help a student make sense of what studying the course actually entails, and allow them to explore the varied and interesting field the course offers. I believe that an active and engaging conversation that causes a student to think and reflect is the best method for learning and applicaiton preparation and to help students reach their best selves.
As well as application help, I am able to provide guidance specifically in Business, Economic and Mathematics A-levels, achieving A* in each subject. Again, I have substantial experience tutoring in these subjects, so I am happy to help there.
