Rohit - Cambridge

BA in Economics - University of Cambridge

I’m Rohit, a final year student at the University of Cambridge. I have studied two years of Economics, completing both years with a "Class I" grade. On account of my academic performance, I have been elected to a scholarship and have gained competitive entry to study Management for the final year of my course. In my International Baccalaureate (IB), I achieved 43 points, including a 7 in Higher Level Mathematics, gaining me offers at all the Universities to which I applied: Cambridge, UCL, Warwick, and Bath.

I understand that the number of steps required to gain admission can make the application process seem overwhelming. However, I am keen to help applicants navigate their way through the process. I have two years of experience mentoring students in both private and access contexts, right from university choice and writing a targeted personal statement to the Economics Admissions Assessment (ECAA) and interviews.

Additionally, as a college Ambassador, I am also able to gain unique insights into the admissions process. Thus through leveraging my experiences, and knowledge of the application process, I am able to tailor my teaching style to each individual student.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing badminton and have held positions on a wide range of university committees.
