I'm Lili and I'm an English undergraduate at the University of Cambridge. I'm a passionate and well-read student who loves to discuss literature and rhetoric, aid in reading beyond the limits of students' schoolwork, and improve understanding of difficult texts and the essay writing process. I'm skilled at helping to support students with reading, writing, and discussion for GCSEs, A levels, and university applications.
From advice on personal statements to entrance tests and interviews, I know from first-hand experience how to make sure students put their best foot forward during the application process. I enjoy guiding students through a wide range of compelling texts that will get them comfortable with thinking on their feet and aid in the development of skills and perspectives to help them stand out in interviews. I also encourage students to lead discussions in order to develop original ideas, find their literary passions, build independent work skills, and master the basics of practical criticism. My goal is to make sure students are ready to impress admissions officers and excel in university supervisions and coursework.
