Hi! My name is Kat. I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Law, and am now undertaking an LPC, a postgraduate professional qualification required to become a solicitor. I have extensive tutoring and mentoring experience, having worked with students from all backgrounds and abilities for over 5 years now. I can help you with personal statement reviews, general legal mentoring, providing an introduction into the world of law, interview preparation, and more!
In my degree, I studied the following modules: Criminal, Tort, Contract, Land, Constitutional/Public, Roman/Civil, Equity, EU, Company, Commercial, Administrative, Human Rights, Criminology and Sentencing, and International. I received a 68% (2.1), with Firsts in 2 modules of my examinable 5. I would be able to tutor the background for any of these subjects for any prospective students who find these topics interesting.
Following the completion of my LPC, I will be working at an international Magic Circle law firm, Freshfields, and completing a Training Contract to become a qualified solicitor. I have a wide array of experiences surrounding graduate applications, having undergone numerous successful assessment centres and written applications. As such, I can also mentor on graduate job opportunities and effective interview technique - I completed numerous internships and job offers from a variety of esteemed international law firms.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling the world, cooking vegetarian meals with my friends, playing the piano, and training with my hockey team!
