BA Philosophy, Psychology and Linguistics - University of Oxford

Hello! I recently graduated Oxford in BA Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics, specialising in AI Ethics and Digital Politics, Social Psychology, Computational Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind. I enjoyed the interdisciplinary and personalised approach to learning that the course offered, as this allowed me to develop a deep understanding of important issues from multiple points of view.

At A-Level, I achieved A*s in Philosophy, Psychology, Maths, and German, and have experience tutoring for all of these subjects on top of my mentoring for university applications. Outside of my curriculars, I have an interest in art, music, film, and language, and I also worked on the committee for a philosophical debate club in Oxford.

Over the course of my degree, I provided 1-1 tutoring and mentoring to many students for their studies in GCSE and A-Level subjects, as well as to prospective applicants for Oxford degrees, guiding them throughout the process from writing their personal statement, taking their entrance exam to feeling well-prepared and confident during their interviews. I have worked with students of all abilities, and have developed an individual-guided approach to teaching inspired by the tutorial structure at Oxford, encouraging students to take the helm and gain self-confidence in their work. I use progress-based strategies to focus on what the student is struggling with most, and we will work together to create a curriculum that will focus on what is most challenging, and find the learning style which works best for the student.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you find the style of learning that works best for you!
