Lewis - University of Oxford

BA - History

I am a Law Masters student with a BA in History from Christ Church, Oxford University. Professionally, I have over 35 published articles, several national award nominations, and experience as Chief Editor of a student academic journal.

Over the past five years working in private tutoring, I have given hundreds of hours worth of lessons working with students of all ages and capacities. My focus in the last two years has been on preparing students for the notoriously difficult-to-navigate Oxbridge applications process. As a former Oxford University student myself, I can offer more than just an insight into university life, offering my students a true understanding of what tutors are looking for in an applicant. With these criteria in mind, I look to cultivate them in my students through mutual understanding and growth, where students know where they need to improve and why.

Outside of the Oxbridge applications process, I have significant experience tutoring both GCSE and A-Level history. I am happy to conduct sessions for short-term exam techniques and preparation or more long-term content-based teaching.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
