Hi, I'm Emeric! I am a fourth year/master's Chemistry student (Part II) studying at Magdalen College, University of Oxford. I am currently on track for a First Class Degree, after ranking fourth in my year cohort for two years in a row and obtaining the highest mark in my whole year in the Organic Chemistry paper in my Part IA exams. Over the last three years, I have worked with a wide variety of Oxbridge applicants and university students, providing personalised guidance, personal statement support, mock interviews, and academic tuition to suit their individual needs and interests. I draw upon the Oxbridge tutorial style of teaching, simulating the actual tutorial experience as much as possible. I seek to share my passion for Chemistry and Organic Chemistry with my students, helping to expand their knowledge, deepen their understanding and challenge them further.
I have taught non-native English speakers and have helped multiple students receive Oxbridge offers, focusing in particular on applications for Chemistry, Biochemistry and Natural Sciences, and have offered tailored support to undergraduate students too. I have also co-led a team performing experiments and explaining chemistry to an audience of over 13,000 as part of Romania's first and largest Science Fair project. This reflects my enthusiasm and commitment to high-quality science communication beyond my studies.
