Hollie - Oxford

DPhil History & BA History - University of Oxford | MA History - University of Manchester

Hi, I'm Hollie. I am currently studying for a DPhil in History at the University of Oxford which focuses on feminism and the British empire. My research is supported by the Arts & Humanities Research Fund and University College, and I am also currently a Clarendon Scholar. Prior to this, I completed a BA in History, also at Oxford, and an MA in History at the University of Manchester.

I hold 4 A* at A-Level in History, English Literature, Law, and the Extended Project Qualification ('EPQ'), and have tutored extensively in History and English. I also have significant experience in the Oxbridge admissions process from previous roles in this field.

I endeavour to replicate my own academic experience through tutoring sessions which are rigorous and stimulating, but also open and reciprocal. This, I believe, leads to not only the best academic results, but a meaningful learning experience centred around discussion and challenge. I look forward to working with you!

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
