Hi, I'm Harman. I'm a recent History graduate from Jesus College, University of Cambridge. I achieved top grades in my A-Levels obtaining an A* in History, an A* in Government and Politics and an A in Economics. My academic interests include: modern Indian history, 19th century political philosophy as well as technology policy and its effect on modern political systems.
I have been tutoring for a total of 3 years primarily for a local educational charity where I volunteered my time every week, teaching 5 students per academic year in GCSE English Langauge and GCSE English Literature. A majority of my students were from disadvantaged backgrounds and were performing significantly below their target grades. As a result of my help over the last 3 years, every single member of the cohorts I teach either achieve their target grade or outperform their target grade.
I also have experience advising prospective Oxbridge applicants and helping to prepre them for admissions tests and interviews. Out of the 4 students I have taken time to advise over the last 3 years, all 4 received Oxbridge interviews and 2 of them received offers.
