MSc Chemistry - University of Oxford

Hi! I'm currently a 4th year MChem Chemistry student at Oxford. The chemistry course at Oxford is very broad, meaning I've had exposure to all three branches, and now am completing a research project within an organic group focusing on synthesis and characterisation of oxonium ions. I am keen to ensure prospective students can explore their own interests, which is why having a broad degree is very useful!

At A-Level, I achieved three As in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics alongside experience in teaching in all these subjects. Beyond my studies, I have been involved in numerous student socieities organising exciting events.

I have over 300 hours of experience tutoring Chemistry and Physics across GCSE and A-level alongside providing university admissions advice. While working at a leading British International school in Singapore, I have organised personal statement sessions, mock interviews and general subject advice! The experience has been very rewarding, and having a flexible approach has allowed students to reach their goals. My key teaching style centres around having a conversation with the student, with questions throughout leading to a more collaborative session.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
