Hi there! My name is Gaia and I am in my 3rd year reading English Language and Literature at Oxford University. I finished my first year with a high 1st class, and was awarded an academic scholarship as well as a number of academic prizes whilst at university. When I applied for the course in 2018, I was in the top 5 highest scorers nationally for the ELAT examination which means I am very confident in coaching students in Oxbridge admissions.
In addition to tutoring since 2019, I was also selected to be the representative for Welfare at my college (helping with student mental health) and the training I received in supporting my peers is something I have found invaluable in teaching, as it means I am equipped to support my students as they gain in confidence and assuredness in the subject.
