Dan - Cambridge
BA in Land Economy - University of Cambridge
Hi, my name is Dan and I am current 2nd year undergraduate studying Land Economy at the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring for a number of years now and have success in getting students offers to study for courses at a whole host of universities, including Oxbridge. I take great pride in not having a 'one-size-fits-all' approach to tutoring - I teach according not just to what students and parents want, but also weaknesses that I observe for myself throughout the course of tutoring. I find the best way to learn is to cover the theory, and then to look at real-world examples and applications of the theory to help students contextualise the topics being covered.
At A-Level, I studied Mathematics, Economics and Geography, and also covered these three subjects and Physics at AS-Level, achieving the highest grades in all examinations. In my first year of Land Economy study I achieved a 1:1 and ranked 4th in my year. With such academic qualifications, I am well placed to help student's maximise their potential and help them to achieve their aims.
I offer tutoring in a wide range of subjects, as well as more general Oxbridge application preparation and support - the process of applying to such universities can seem daunting and confusing and I am here to help remove the chaos and support you through the process in whatever capacity you so wish.
