Hi! I'm a recent graduate from Trinity College Oxford where I read Politics, philosophy and Economics at Trinity College Oxford. I am now undertaking a MA Law Conversion Course at the University of Law with a Lincolns Inn Lord Haldane scholar.
While at Oxford I took modules across all three areas, however with a focus on British Politics, British political history, the theory of politics, General Philosophy and Ethics. I particularly enjoyed my work in General philosophy, producing written work on general scepticism and Kantian ethics. I graduated with an upper second-class degree. I also worked as a Research Assistant to Dr Stephen Fisher the Director of Political Sociology and Politics Tutor at Trinity College.
During my legal studies I am covering all areas that make up a British qualifying law degree including Contract, Criminal law and public law.
I studied Government and Politics, Sociology and History at A-level, achieving A* A A grades. I also completed an EPQ entitled 'The development of modern behavioural economics and it's impact on libertarian political philosophy and traditional economic modelling'. While at school I also competed in numerous essay competitions including the John Locke Institute competition, and the McWhirter Foundation Oxford residential trip.
While at University I regularly tutored for all three years. During this time I completed a combination of subject, admissions and extra-curricular tutoring. Previously I have designed and run Oxford admission test, interview and personal statement tutoring for over 40 individual pupils. These 1-1 sessions have produced significant results, with an overall success rate for securing Oxford Interviews of 35%.
