Camille - Cambridge

BA Law - University of Cambridge

I am a Franco-British undergraduate reading law at Queens’ College, Cambridge, entering into my final year of study.

Prior to Cambridge, I was educated in the French system in London, known for its breadth and rigour. Having had an international education whilst living in the UK, I feel very familiar with both international and UK applications targeted towards Oxbridge.

Back in school, I had set up a trial re-enactment at the UK Supreme Court with practising lawyers and worked alongside French MPs. I also volunteer for pro-bono organisations such as SolidariTee and the FBLS. Outside of my degree, I am an active member of the French Committee and the ski race team.

Having prepared extensively for my application, I find it rewarding to help others do the same. This includes personal statement writing, mock interviews, and exploring Law as a subject of choice. I had the chance to ask my interviewer for feedback on my own interview and lean on his advice as to what is sought out in applicants.

My tutoring is tailored to your needs. I focus strongly on mindset and practice prior to the exam/interview, as this plays out a lot. Having assisted students with a broad range of work allows me to narrow in quickly on areas where improvement is required, for approachable, effective and confidence-boosting mentoring.

Importantly, I find studying at Cambridge both intellectually challenging and highly enjoyable and hope that this translates to my students.
