Philip - Oxford

BA in Philosophy, Experimental Psychology, and Linguistics - University of Oxford

I grew up between Italy, New York and the United Kingdom. I attended Wellington, Winchester College and then Oxford, where I am working in all three subjects of Philosophy, Psychology and Linguistics. I completed an EPQ on the Philosophy of Cognitive Science which continues to be my focus. My current research is on the Cognitive Science of aesthetic experience and Brain-Computer Interfaces.

Having been tutoring for the last three years I have found this work geatly rewarding, my style closely follows the Oxbridge tutorial system with a strong emphasis on working with the student to develop their own curiousity and expanding their intellectual life. I have more recently been working residentially with a European family on mentoring two girls, one of which has recently been accepted at Cambridge and the other at Westminster College.

I maintain a strong interest in contemporary art and poetry.
