Alix - Cambridge

BA Land Economy - University of Cambridge

Hi everyone, I’m Alix! I’m a third-year student studying Land Economy (Economics, Law, and Environment) at Cambridge. I have completed my first two years with high 2:I honours, ranking 14th in my cohort. Prior to university, I achieved three A* at A-level, in Mathematics, Chemistry and Geography. Being originally from France but growing up in the UK, I bring diverse perspective to my tutoring sessions.

I have had a couple of years of teaching and tutoring experience, focusing on university admissions. During this time, I have developed a comprehensive toolkit to guide students through every aspect of the application process – from writing compelling personal statements to mastering the interview stage. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, allowing me to tailor my support to each student's unique needs. Having been through the tough Oxbridge application myself, I understand the pressures of the process, which is why I am committed to being an inspiring mentor and reliable tutor. Through one-on-one personal statement sessions or mock interviews, I will provide valuable feedback to enhance your skills and confidence. Land Economy is a multi-disciplinary subject, and I am passionate about helping students explore and understand the breadth of opportunities it offers!
