Srishti - SOAS
LL.M in Law & Gender - School of Oriental and African Studies
BA in Law - University of Oxford
I read Law (Jurisprudence) at The Queen's College, University of Oxford. Since university, I have been extremely involved with outreach initiatives for aspiring students, assisting on Oxbridge applications panels for various schools and organisations. Notably, I have offered guidance on personal statements and interview preparation for PPE/HSPS and Law with the Woodard Schools Foundation, as well as other private tutoring companies.
As a tutor, I have an empathetic approach. University applications can be immensely stressful, and I strive to create an environment in which students feel comfortable being themselves, using their own interests to shape an excellent candidate profile. As such, I like to find out what style of learning and what type of content interests students, and I provide extra reading and research suggestions based on this. I believe this is the best way for each and every student to show their genuine passion and capability for their subject.
I have recently completed an LL.M in Law and Gender at SOAS University of London, having just completed the Bar Professional Training Course. I began pupillage in 2019, and in my spare time, I am learning Sanskrit and am a trained dancer.
