Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and International Tax Consultant
I received my offer to work as a consultant in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and International Tax at Deloitte Cairo – Egypt a month before I graduated with a degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo. At Deloitte, I engaged with a number of diverse clients from both the private and public sector in the fields of energy, defence, media, real estate, and many more. My experience has taught me the multi-dimensional aspects of the market and the value of consultancy work. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s in Economics and Public Policy (MPP) at Sciences Po in Paris, France.
I am an avid believer in the importance of giving back to the community, so I have spent my university years doing a range of activities such as working for an NGO in Cambodia, volunteering as a teacher in Nepal, and tutoring refugees and orphans in Egypt.
As a person who faced the consulting job market right after graduation, I understand how demanding it can be for those wanting to get into the field, so I aim to facilitate the process as much as possible by providing guidance regarding the various milestones.
