MSc Physics - University of Oxford

Hi! I'm a third-year student studying Physics at the University of Oxford. The course teaches you a wide variety of physics and maths, and I have particularly enjoyed learning about quantum mechanics and general relativity - two ideas that make you think of the world in a completely different way! I have a strong interest in computational physics and building simulations, and hope to specialise in this area. Over the course of my degree, I have received a number of awards and prizes, including awards for written and practical excellence.

I achieved A*, A*, A*, A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at A-Level, and highest performance in GCSE Maths.

Outside of my degree, I train regularly in Taekwondo where I am a third-degree balck belt. I've had the privelege to represent Team UK at the 2016 World Championships, ranking 4th, and I am a qualified national umpire. A few years ago, I founded a third-party application for a popular flight simulator.

I have experience in tutoring both in-person and online. I have tutored over 90 students online, providing on-demand maths and physics support for SATs, GCSEs, A-Levels. I have interviewed several Oxbridge applicants, alongside providing detailed feedback and resources to help students improve, and bridge the gap between A-Level and university.

My teaching style is much like a conversation. I believe a successful session involves lots of questions and discussion, and introducing topics in a style that works best for the student.
