VetMB in Veterinary Medicine - University of Cambridge

Hello! I’m Sophie. I’m a second year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Cambridge and I received four offers for Veterinary Medicine. I have been helping students apply for the past two years and I firmly believe I can do the same for you. To enter this vocation, you need to prove that you are an all-rounder, to show that you have the brainpower and interpersonal skills to help those animals, and their owners, in need. I can help you to build your application: obtaining work experience, choosing GCSEs, A levels, and the right university, perfecting your personal statement, passing admissions assessments, and acing interviews. I can also provide help with sciences and maths at GCSE and A level to help you understand tricky concepts in a fun and engaging way. I founded and ran a dissection club at school to share my love of anatomy and all things veterinary, and my hope is that I can instill even a small amount of that passion in you!

Being a vet is not just about studying hard. At Cambridge, I pride myself in my music, singing in my college chapel choir and in operas, and playing in various concerts on my French Horn. Balancing my time with arguably one of the most challenging courses at Cambridge requires great dedication and organisational skills.
