MSc Psychology - University College London | BA English- University of Cambridge

Sam

I am a professional tutor and psychologist with many years’ teaching experience who relishes supporting mentees to flourish in their learning. I studied English at Cambridge (Double First, six scholarship prizes) and then Psychology at UCL (Distinction, Dean’s List).

Before that, I studied English, History, and Latin A Level (3A*s), with 10 A*s at GCSE. I teach a range of age groups (from age five to adults), mainly in England and China, though my specialism is in university preparation. At Cambridge, I worked with my college in supporting the admissions process, including demonstrating interview technique to prospective applicants.

My primary love is for teaching English and psychology. I value creating a patient, dynamic, collaborative space in which we can build confidence and hone these skills together.

In my spare time, I’m usually writing and trying to publish on psychology; watching films; or playing in my jazz pop band! I warmly hope to meet you and support you in your values and goals.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
