Hello! I'm a recent English Literature Master’s graduate from St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Before undertaking my master’s I also studied at Merton College, Oxford, where I received first-class honours and one of the highest Finals marks in my cohort for BA English Language and Literature. As a Master's student I focused on medieval English literature at Oxford and was the year's Jeremy Griffiths History of the Book Scholar. I am passionate about helping students to explore texts beyond the classroom.

I have a great-deal of tutoring experience with school-age children, and alongside this have run comepetitive debating, improvised comedy and drama workshops with young students. I am adept at making students engaged and excited about learning. I have also taught Latin to primary-school children (ages 7-11) and have experience with teaching children for whom English is their second or third language.

I have been fascinated by English literature since studying it at St Paul’s Girls School, and studying this subject at university has been an absolute joy. I look forward to sharing this enthusiasm and the insights I’ve gained from literature with my tutees.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk.
