Ollie - Oxford
BSc in Biology - University of Oxford
As a biology teacher at a British Secondary school and Oxford University graduate, providing students with the tools and knowledge they need to ace their exams and achieve their University dreams is the passion that I am lucky enough to call my job.
My style involves a combination of crystal clear explanations and intricate challenging questions designed to build my students’ knowledge, ability to express themselves and the power to problem solve. I push my students to look beyond what they learn in school and broaden their understanding of Biology to prepare them both for their interviews and life as an undergrad. With significant experience in Oxbridge mentoring, both in secondary schools and online, I’m equipped with the knowledge and skills to help students excel.
Though originally from London, I spent 10 years of my childhood being educated in the French Alpes. Aged 14 I returned to Caterham school in Surrey where I achieved 11A* at GCSE followed by A*s in A-level Biology, Physics and Maths. I went on to study Biological Sciences at Merton College, Oxford before getting a place on the Teach First program and starting my career in education in a secondary school in south London. Outside of work, I’m a keen skier, triathlete, and sailor.
