Hi, my name is Mohammed Ali and I am currently a final year Economics student at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. As a current undergraduate, I understand the skills required to be a successful Cambridge Economics student and am well placed to help prospective applicants develop them.
I achieved the top grade in all my 4 A-Levels (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Physics) and ranked 1st in OCR Mathematics A-Level in the UK. I also placed in the top 25% of the year and am especially proud in ranking 11th in Marcoeconomics and Econometrics. Alongside this, I have over two years of tutoring experience ranging from A-level tutoring, mock interview preparation and personal statement advice. Through my professional and access work, I have provided comprehensive application guidance to a diverse cohort of students. Combining my experience with my in-depth knowledge of the application process, I look forward to helping you produce a competitive application.
Outside of academics, I am a keen cricketer and am currently part of the Cambridge University Cricket Club. I also have an interest in game theory applications, especially its use in optimal poker strategies. Having lived in Cambridge for almost 9 years now, I am happy to offer insights into college selection or any aspect of Cambridge life whatsoever!
