BA in Human, Social & Political Sciences - University of Cambridge
I recently graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Human Social Political Science where I specialised in History and Politics. At school, I studied Maths (A), History (A), Biology (A) and Music (A*) to Advanced Higher. I have previously tutored Cambridge admissions (interview prep, admissions test, expanding subject knowledge and personal statement) A-level revision guidance and English GCSE. I also have extensive experience teaching young children as I both worked at my school's after-school club and taught French once a week for a year to a primary school class of around 20 7-8-year-olds. I would love to offer services in university admissions support, interview prep, up to A-level History and Politics, up to GCSE English and early years primary tuition in English and Maths.
As a tutor, I look forward to building a relationship with my student so I can tailor my lessons to the individual needs and desires of each student. I think it is important to have clear goals and plans for the course of lessons, I also want to ensure that I am flexible to the developing capabilities of the student and will listen and communicate closely. I am incredibly passionate about teaching and look forward to building a relationship with my students to help them both perform well and learn to love the subject they are studying.
