Hi! I'm Maddy, and I am a recent graduate (BA in Geography) from the University of Oxford, achieving a high 2.1. Recently I was awarded a college academic scholarship for my continuous, outstanding academic achievement and hard work. I look forward to sharing my passion, skills and knowledge with you!
For my undergraduate degree, I applied to Oxford, Durham, LSE, Exeter and Cardiff and received offers for all of them. For A-Levels, I studied Geography (A*), English Literature (A*), Spanish (D2 = A*), and I also took History AS level (A). I achieved 6* and 4 As at GCSE.
I have been tutoring for over 3 years now, working with a range of students of all ages (5-17), levels of ability, and educational needs. In particular, I have enjoyed mentoring my clients throughout their KS2 SATS, GCSE's, A-Levels, and university entrance exams. Moreover, I have supported multiple students with their entire application process for university, particularly Oxbridge. I have a strong eye for detail and enjoy marking and providing feedback regarding personal statements. Last year I mentored an international student throughout the Oxbridge process, equipping him with unique and knowledgeable insights, as well as helping him to be confident and competent at Interview. He is now a current undergraduate at Oxford University.
I am a smiley, enthusiastic and conscientious tutor/mentor with a proven ability to quickly identify the areas where my clients need help.
