Lily - Oxford
BA in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History - University of Oxford | MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums - University College London
Since graduating from the University of Oxford with a BA in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, I have completed an MA in Conservation and am about to achieve an MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums, both from UCL. Prior to university studies, I took A-Levels in English Literature, History, Maths, and Chemistry.
I have always been interested in integrating the arts and sciences in both my studies and research, leading me to pursue archaeological conservation. My current research focuses on the ethics of conservation and how this can be affected by scientific analysis. In future, I hope to pursue this research and become a practising conservator. I am passionate about expanding accessibility and inclusivity to museums and studies of the ancient world. I have been involved with outreach projects through the University of Oxford’s Widening Access and Participation Department, IntoUniversity, and the Museum of London.
