MEng in Materials Science - University of Oxford

louisms.jpg

From an early age, I have always been intrigued by science. The GCSE and A level courses fascinated me, and I soon realised that Materials Science was at the core of all future scientific projects and developments as they are the building blocks of our tech, infrastructure, and everyday items we take for granted, for example, mobile phones, batteries or vehicles. I love being able to re-teach my knowledge to budding scientists including those who don’t yet know that Materials Science is for them.

I feel that I can offer a fresh and innovative way of teaching as I have been through the process recently myself. I am a 3rd year undergraduate at Trinity College, Oxford, and am a rugby union blue and skiing half blue.

I have taught over 100 hours at A level, GCSE, and university level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics Chemistry, and Materials Science since 2018.
