Jessica - Oxford
MEng in Materials Science - University of Oxford
Hi, I'm Jessica! I graduated with a Master's degree in Materials Science from the Queen's College, Oxford. I am a passionate and approachable tutor who aims to help all my students achieve their full potential. I know that few students will have much familiarity with Materials Science at a pre-degree level, so I seek to clearly guide them through the application process, identify what they are most enthusiastic about, comprehensively support them as they write their personal statement, and provide focused interview preparation which closely mimics the real experience.
I have been privately tutoring students for several years. I have helped previous MatSci applicants with their personal statements and held mock interviews for them, and have also tutored GCSE Chemistry, Physics and Biology, KS3 Maths and English, and the 11+. Whilst at Oxford, I was the leader of a string quartet, played violin in The Queen's College Orchestra, and represented The Queen's College at football and hockey. I am now working as a Graduate Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover.
If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
