BA Economics & Management - University of Cambridge
Hi, my name is Isha and I am a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge. I graduated from Cambridge with a double first class degree in Economics with Management Studies. I ranked 1st in my cohort and was awarded the Graeme Minto Prize in Management Studies.
I previously studied Economics at Girton College and after achieving a 1st class result in my second year examinations (including a mark of 85 on my econometrics project - the top mark in the cohort!), I moved over to the Judge Business School to complete the management studies standalone year.
Having studied a variety of papers within economics (micro, macro, history and philosophy of economics, econometrics, politics) and within management (organisational behaviour, operations management, finance and accounting, quantitative methods, strategic management), I am well placed to help students looking to apply for Economics at Cambridge or Economics and Management at Oxford. My areas of particular interest within Economics include history and philosophy of economics, behavioural economics, development, and game theory, but I am extremely comfortable covering an extensive range of topics.
I studied Economics (A*), English Literature (A*), Mathematics (A*) and Further Mathematics (A) for my A Levels, and received offers from all the universities I applied to (LSE, Warwick, UCL, Nottingham), in addition to Cambridge. Going forward, I will be joining BCG after graduation to pursue a career in consulting.
I have previously tutored GCSE Maths and English Literature, A-Level Economics and Cambridge economics admissions, and have also coached admissions through my role as a Girton College access ambassador. This extensive experience means that I am able to easily adapt to the different learning styles and preferences of my students and I also have a good understanding of what admissions tutors are looking for.
