BA in Geography - University of Cambridge
Hi, I am Isabella, a tutor here at Doxa. I currently read Geography at the University of Cambridge and I am going into my final year. In addition to specialising in Human Geography, I have extensive experience studying a range of other humanities subjects including Sociology, Anthropology, and Politics.
I achieved 3 A* grades in Geography, Spanish and my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and an A grade in Mathematics at A Level meaning my subject interest and experience tutoring ranges from humanities to STEM subjects.
Throughout my time in academia, I’ve had the privilege of being taught by inspiring and world-leading professors in their field, who have fuelled my passions for Geography and humanities subjects. It is these passions for the subject and enthusiasm for learning that I would like to pass onto students such as yourselves.
I have tutoring experience doing mock interview preparation for Cambridge, Oxford (and other UK university) interviews.
I have tutoring experience proof-reading university application essays and personal statements.
I have tutoring experience running a geography masterclass.
I have personal experience writing an Oxbridge personal statement and sitting the interview for Geography at Cambridge.
I have experience with the Cambridge GAA (Geography Admissions Test).
I have experience writing an EPQ.
