As a current undergraduate student of BSc Government and History at the London School of Economics, I could not be happier with my course choice and school and think of myself to be lucky to be studying something that perfectly aligns with my interests. This is why I think its important that applicants account for their passions and enthusiasm when choosing courses/schools and I want to help students make similarly informed decisions and guide them through this daunting process.
I gained confidence in advising others whilst helping my friends in their applications last year and helped them gain admission to UCL, LSE and in other renowned US liberal arts college. Furthermore, I have received admission offers in liberal arts colleges like Mount Holyoke (along with a scholarship), UT Austin and others. I am therefore familiar with the US application system (Common App) and how to nail those shorter essays. People are often discouraged from applying to a university because of these shorter essays, but I feel they are the perfect opportunity for one to prove why they are the perfect candidate and further outline their interests.
