Hi, I’m Haniya, and I am a second year History undergraduate at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, I studied Economics (A*), History (A) and Maths (A) at A level, after achieving 11 GCSEs (all grades 8 and 9). I am passionate about helping students to fulfil their potential and have a comprehensive understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process from personal statements and admissions tests to interviews.
My aim is to guide students through the complex application process by helping them to develop their critical thinking skills which are imperative at all stages of the process. By refining these skills my mentees will gain the confidence to articulate their thoughts clearly and concisely. I focus on tailoring my mentoring style to each individual student in order to suit each mentee’s learning preferences, whilst trying to emulate a tutorial/supervision environment.
I look forward to helping mentees explore their subject further and challenging their ideas.
