I graduated with a First-class bachelor’s and medical degree from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in April 2020 to join the NHS COVID-19 workforce as a Foundation Doctor. I have a passion for medical education and have previously engaged in teaching at all levels within the medical school, as well as mentoring medical school applicants. This has included reviewing personal statements and conducting preparatory interviews, as well as subject-specific teaching.

During my undergraduate career, I wrote numerous essays, extended essays, and research projects, and some of these have since been published in prestigious scientific journals. I have also been interviewed by the international magazine Business Insider about how to apply to Medical School successfully. Currently, I provide tutorials to clinical medical students and have received extensive positive feedback.

My approach to tutoring is a student-centric model, tailoring each session to the needs of the student and working together to achieve specific, measurable goals. This involves dynamic discussion to identify key areas for future development to allow growth both during and after each tutorial. I believe that true understanding of a subject comes from exploring it conceptually, not just the learning of facts. As such, I strive to equip my tutees with relevant thinking skills to allow them to approach new challenges.
