I’ve been teaching since 2011, and now tutor English and Maths from Early Years to GCSE including phonics and preparation for 7+, 11+, and other admissions tests. My supportive, encouraging but rigorous approach has led to my students receiving offers from a range of top grammar and independent schools and achieving high grades in national exams. Prior to tutoring, I worked as the Year 3 classroom Teacher in Ratu Meli Memorial School in Fiji and have held various teaching roles in the education departments of a number of UK theatres.
No child is the same, and I believe that one-to-one tutoring, specifically tailored to their individual needs and interests is the best way to truly allow a student to reach their full potential and unlock a passion for the subject. I ensure my students have a positive experience and feel relaxed and confident to ask questions and learn from their mistakes. Teaching is my passion and I love helping my students to achieve their goals and enjoy their work - even when preparing for exams!
