Ella - Oxford
BA in Philosophy and Linguistics - University of Oxford
Hello! My name is Ella and I have recently graduated from my Philosophy and Linguistics degree at Oxford University. I have always loved having the opportunity to help people with the University application process, which I know from experience can definitely appear daunting!
I have experience tutoring and mentoring students, from the UK and also internationally (I was lucky enough to spend a summer teaching and mentoring in China). I am keen to use my critical thinking skills and experience in engaging in academic discussions that my degree has provided me with to continue to help, and enthuse students - both with regards to the University Admissions process and beyond.
I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE level, and have A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English Literature, and History. This breadth of subject experience enables me to confidently help and empathise with students whatever their interests and passions.
I loved studying Philosophy and Linguistics at Oxford, and have a real passion for my subjects. I take great joy in helping applicants to uncover and develop their own passions within Philosophy and/or Linguistics, as I am well aware that there is plenty to be passionate about!
If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
