What you need to focus on
Personal Statement: for History, personal statements must have a strong focus on academic literature.
HAT: this test is extremely important for History success. You need around at least 50 in order to get to interview, but a higher score is preferable.
Interview: you will likely have two interviews. Both will be short, but intense, offering you an opportunity to display your best self in front of the tutors. They will focus on testing your ability to think quickly and critically.
Key Dates
15th October: UCAS deadline for personal statement.
15th October: Registration deadline for HAT.
31st October: HAT takes place.
10th November: Deadline for submitted written work.
End of December: Interviews take place.
