Support for those from Disadvtanged Backgrounds
At Doxa we believe that everyone should have access to the support they need.
Many of our Mentors came from disadvantaged backgrounds; we strongly believe in offering a range of support options to ensure no one feels like they are left behind.
Oxbridge, unfortunately, has a reputation of not being access friendly. We hope to change this image and show that with the right support Oxbridge success is available to everyone. We tackle the issue in several different ways.
One of our solutions is to offer classes; these bring down the average cost of a session substantially.
Whilst still offering high quality support, by splitting the cost across several individuals, we can bring down the price of a tutorial dramatically.
Secondly, we offer relevant high-quality resources to try to help those who need support.
Please see our resources here to browse through our comprehensive free content. In addition, we have articles written specifically to help those from disadvantaged backgrounds; scroll to the bottom of this page to see our list.
Lastly, we offer a substantial discount for those seeking support who are on free school meals.
All our services are half price for those on free school meals; to unlock this discount you must simply contact us and we will get in touch to arrange the discount. We will give you a code to use when booking, which will reduce the cost of your sessions by half.
If you have any questions about how we support those from disadvantaged backgrounds, please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you happen to be applying to Oxbridge with a disability or under special circumstances, please see our Disability Support page.
