BA in Natural Sciences & MB BCHIR in Medicine - University of Cambridge

shruti.jpeg

I am currently a fifth-year undergraduate studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge. I recently graduated with a First Class degree in my intercalated BA Natural Sciences (with a specialisation in Psychology) for which I was awarded a scholarship from Churchill College. Prior to this, I achieved 13 A*s at GCSE and A* A* A in my A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry, and Maths). I hope to pursue a career in clinical academia where I hope to conduct research alongside practicing as a clinician. I am currently in the process of writing multiple publications and recently, I presented my research on mental health at the MQ Mental Health Summit 2021.

I am very keen to teach and I have over three years of professional tutoring experience at varying levels (11+, GCSE, and A-Levels). I have also supported students through the medicine application process (including personal statements, admissions tests, and the interview process) for several universities, including Oxbridge. Having spoken to admissions tutors and having gone through the application process myself, I understand the requirements that students need to meet and can guide them through the process so that they excel. I personalise my lessons to each student and my supportive and interactive teaching style helps students achieve their best potential.
