After completing Maths, Further Maths and Biology A-levels, I pursued a Bachelor & Master’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Manchester, where I am currently in my fourth and final year. At present, I am specialising in applications of hyperbolic geometry and fluid dynamics.
I have delivered one-to-one tuition as well as small class teaching for the past six years in both maths and verbal/non-verbal reasoning focusing on 11+ and 13+ and helping students to secure grammar and independent school places. I believe that successful learning stems from understanding key mathematical concepts and then proceeding to apply these notions in a wide and varied range of applications in order to reinforce one's knowledge. I have taught students across a range of abilities and ages. In addition, I have tutored students online ensuring he utilises the best online learning tools available.
As a grammar school graduate, I tailor lessons to meet the needs and requirements of individual students to give them the best possible chance in their applications and entrance examinations. I understand the importance of selecting schools strategically, to ensure students have the best chances of application success.
