MEng in Engineering Science - University of Oxford

I am currently in my third year of studying Engineering Science at Oxford University. My specialisation is in electrical and biomedical engineering, which has given me the opportunity to do a project on designing the next generation of modular prosthetic limbs.

The generic engineering course for the first two years of my degree has resulted in a rounded knowledge of many branches of engineering and becoming fluent in the mathematics required to be successful. I have a particular interest in digital logic and circuit analysis, which has only evolved since doing Electronic Products at GCSE (achieving A*) which required designing and manufacturing a new electronic device.

During my time at Oxford, I have been president of the Northerner’s Society, working hard to improve access and outreach to underrepresented areas at Oxbridge. At A-Level I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Music, taking a particular interest in mathematical concepts in music. Aside from engineering, I spend my time playing music and working to improve access to Oxbridge.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
