Hi, my name is Max, and I've been tutoring for over 6 years. In 2021 I graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Wadham College, University of Oxford. In 2022, I graduated with a Distinction on the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL; LLM Equivalent) from Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford. I received prizes for coming top of my cohort in Environmental Law and Intellectual Property Law on my undergraduate degree and the BCL respectively.
My tutoring style is entirely tailored to the individual student - all students learn differently and so tutoring sessions should reflect this. I have delivered thousands of hours of teaching on a range of topics and to a range of different students, including: offering tutorials in first-year Law subjects to incoming undergraduates at the University of Oxford, offering tutorials in English contract Law to students from the University of Tokyo as part of their Oxford Summer Programme, teaching A-Level Law at an Oxford Secondary School when I was only 18 years old, and guiding students successfully through university admissions tests and interviews.
In addition to this, I have recently co-written a book which focuses on essay writing and study skills in the legal context.
