Tabitha - Cambridge
BA in Economics - University of Cambridge
Hi, I’m Tabitha and I recently graduated with a First Class in Economics from the University of Cambridge. I achieved a mark of 80/100 in my dissertation ranking 4th out of 149 in the faculty and ranking 20th overall in my year. I am passionate about accessible higher-education and opportunities for young people of all backgrounds.
I achieved 10 A*s in my IGCSEs, achieving the highest mark in Further Mathematics and Economics in Nigeria. I also achieved A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics at A-Level. My experience in these subjects enables me to confidently and effectively help other students aiming for top grades, regardless of their current grade level.
I understand how daunting the Cambridge application process can be and aim to be as supportive and encouraging to my students as possible along the whole process. I have mentored several students throughout my university career, most of whom have received offers, and also aided them in developing their confidence in their academic abilities.
As someone who experienced intense imposter syndrome during my 3 years at Cambridge, I understand and can empathise with how overwhelming the application process and academic experience can be. For this reason, I enjoy the opportunity to provide the necessary academic and at times pastoral support to aspiring Oxbridge applicants as they embark on this exciting journey.
