Hi, I'm Sara! I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2023 with first-class honours in English Language and Literature, finishing first in my subject cohort at Lincoln College. I am currently pursuing a master's in the History of Art at The Courtauld. I have a deep and comprehensive understanding of literature and art across all periods as well as the history of English language, and my passion for this is contagious to the students with whom I work.

My lessons prioritise student’s confidence and independence of thought, preparing them for higher education and helping them gain transferable skills across the humanities. I works on a highly individual basis to ensure that lessons are personalised according to each student’s needs.

I believe challenges and deadlines should be approached with a positive and measured mindset and will navigate the demands of individual academic goals with empathy and encouragement. By nurturing my students' ideas and creativity to further their individual voice, my approach is supportive and engaging, prioritising independence of thought.

I have seven years of tutoring experience, and my specialism lies in English Literature and Language, from 16 - 18 year old students doing GCSE/A-level or equivalent, to Oxbridge Admissions. I have helped several students receive Oxbridge offers, and all of my GCSE and A-level students have hit or exceeded their target grades. I am up to date on common examination syllabi, and through my Oxbridge network have collated a large collection of interview resources.
