BSc in Economics - University of Nottingham

I have just graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First-Class degree in BSc Economics. During my time at university, I worked as an ambassador for the School of Economics and led several application support classes to prospective students, coaching interview techniques and advising on personal statements. I found this position to be extremely fulfilling, as many of my tutees ended up securing a place at the University. I now work as an admissions counsellor for several tutoring agencies and provide comprehensive advice to those applying for Russel Group University places.

I will always begin by discussing my tutee's individual requirements and areas of the application process that YOU would like to focus on. For personal statement coaching, we will work together to determine your passion for a subject and then leverage this to make you stand out from the crowd. In my experience, most tutees also require help with interview technique and how to translate your knowledge into a well-rounded answer in when under pressure. I, therefore, place a great emphasis on guiding students through mock interviews and identifying weaknesses, so that we can turn these into strengths. In our sessions, I will help with essay structure, illustrate how to use higher-order analytical and evaluation skills, and crucially, how to convey your relevant experience to prove that you are an ideal candidate.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk.
