I graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, and currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Development at Sciences Po, Paris. As a result, I have gained significant knowledge of how the social sciences are taught in rigorous academic settings.
I enjoy working closely with students who need to hone their analytical and argumentative skills when writing essays and personal statements. I have helped give advice to students from ABA – An IB World School in Oman studying History and Economics for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Having completed the diploma myself with the highest possible grades in both subjects, I have an understanding of how students should approach the material.
During my time at Warwick, I also tutored GCSE mathematics, most notably through ‘Warwick in Africa’ where I taught in Ghana for one summer. After graduation, I’m excited to share tips on writing a successful personal statement to study the social sciences at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, playing the guitar, and other fun activities!
