Hi! My name is Millie. I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Law. Specific areas of academic interest during my studies included Constitutional, Administrative and Human Rights Law. I have experience in teaching Law to students, as well as mentoring A Level students on their application to study Law at Cambridge.
In Summer 2019 I introduced and taught themes and concepts of constitutional law to Chinese students aged 10 – 14 in Guangzhou. It was important to be able to adapt the lesson plans to different learning and language abilities and simplify the more technical areas of law where necessary.
Last summer I helped mentor an AS student on her application to Cambridge to study Law. Our virtual mentoring sessions involved improving draft personal statements and compiling reading recommendations to help strengthen her application. I have also been responsible for running tutoring sessions for AS Level Students in History at my own Sixth Form to help improve exam and essay writing technique. At the end of my A Levels, I achieved 3 A* s in English Literature, History and Government & Politics at A Level.
