MEng Computing - Imperial College London

Hey! I'm Karan, a third year undergraduate studying Computer Science at Imperial College London.

Prior to university, I studied both GCSE and A-Level Computer Science, achieving top marks in both, including a prize for the highest mark in GCSE Computer Science. Through many years of study, I have a large knowledge base within subjects ranging from logical reasoning for computers to coding. Additionally, I am also well versed in good exam technique in a range of exam boards to really help you ace any exams.

My credentials are furthered by my high performance in a range of Computer Science and Mathematical challenges including The Bebras Challenge and the British Maths Olympiad, which are competition recognised throughout the world.

During the past few years I have gained a range of tutoring experience, including tutoring Python for almost 2 years, with students aged from 12 to 50. This gave me a lot of experience tailoring my teaching style to individual students to maximise efficacy. Additionally, I have experience in teaching people who do not have English as their first language, and framing all the relevant and required content in a way they are able to easily understand and digest.

In the past, I spent two years mentoring students in Mathematics which has given me the skills to help people structure their revision and the content they need to learn in a way that is effective for themselves.

If you have any questions about my experience, please feel free to contact me at support@doxa.co.uk
