I graduated from the University of Oxford with a First Class Honours degree in Ancient & Modern History and was awarded the university Gibb prize for achieving the highest overall mark out of all the History Joint school candidates in my year. I can provide in-depth knowledge and support to help you fulfil your academic potential. The key to success is preparation, so my aim is to ensure that you have a calm, considered and confident approach throughout the Oxbridge application process. This will help you maximise your chances of a positive outcome during the challenging experience of applying to Oxford or Cambridge.
I will tailor my tuition to your individual interests and needs so that you can develop your academic skills within the four strands of the application process: the Personal Statement, the Essay Submission, the Aptitude Test and the Academic Interview. With my conscientious approach and understanding of Oxbridge admission requirements, I can help you build on your strengths and resolve any potential weaknesses.
As your dedicated tutor, I can provide expert advice in a range of subject areas within the humanities. My specialisation is British and European intellectual history (the history of ideas), so I can also support philosophy applications. I have three years’ experience of tutoring and worked as an academic mentor for IntoUniversity, an educational charity which helps disadvantaged students attain university places. I have been offered a post-graduate place to study for a Masters in History at Oxford.
